The Last Lecture

Hosted by Yvette and Millie at Yvette's House

Hello fellow bookworms,

On Monday we had our third bookclub meeting. I was so excited about everyone's enthusiasm . Our third book was, The Last Lecture, by Randy Pausch. We began our meeting by posting , who was a Tigger or an Eeyore . I am happy to report that all of us were Tiggers! The discussion was genuine and warm. We all were able to relate to many  aspects of the book. I enjoyed the stories everyone shared about the accomplishment of their childhood dreams.  We also shared what wisdom we would impart to our children . Needless to say this book gave us all time to reflect on what really is important in life.

Thank you to everyone for their participation,
Yvette and Millie

  2. I was moved by the fact that this man was dying and he chose to truly live in his last months. He took advantage of
sharing with all what is truly important and leaving a legacy of making a difference and making your dreams come true for his children.
Yvette your home is lovely. I really enjoyed the Tigger and Eyore exercise.
    Thank You!
    Mary
